Delmy Rodriguez is a 55 year old migrant worker who came to America in search for a better life for her and her family.
Rodriguez is originally from El Salvador, as she left her entire life there due to safety concerns, as she did not know if she would live to see another day. Delmy paints the picture of what it is like to be a immigrant in the United States, and how her life is different now then what it would be compared to if she stayed in El Salvador.
